Is modeling going to interfere with my child’s school?
The anwser short and sweet is yes. You see, the modeling industry is a business and business hours typically range Monday - Friday. Casting Directors are typically off on weekends so their castings go out during the week. Lucky ducks because most castings these days are virtual. Which means you don’t have to be seen in person and you can submit a video to casting directors or clients . However, most shoots if your child books the job are going to be during school hours and this is outside our control. If you are super super concerned about your child missing a day of school here and there I would say skip modeling as a hobby for your child. He/she is not going to miss enough school for it to affect their grades but they might have to call in “ sick” once in a blue moon.
