Vale Dr Robert Burke. Some sad new today, with the passing of Dr Robert Burke, one of the great Australian based Futurists. He was an educator, consultant and also a strategist and futurist.
After an extensive corporate career, including as a CEO/Managing Director for international companies, Robert was the Program Director and Futurist in Residence at the renowned University of Melbourne, Melbourne Business School for over 11 years. Robert inspired, educated and supported many in the futures field and business professionals across many industries.

On Sunday 22 May 2022, the Futures and Foresight community said a sad farewell to one of our giants, Hazel Henderson.
Hazel packed a tremendous amount into her wonderful life, and we all do truly stand on her shoulders.

Our first release for 2022, this month we have re-interviews with René Rohrbeck located in Lille, France and is the Chair for ‘Foresight Innovation and Transformation ‘ at EDHEC Business School, one the Europe’s top 10 business schools, and a reinterview with Frank W. Spencer IV from Kissimmee, Florida in the USA, who is founder and lead instructor at The Futures School.
Some great wisdom and experience is shared by two esteemed retired futurists, Oliver Markley from Gresham, Oregon in the USA, a Professor Emeritus (retired), and formerly Chair of the graduate program in Studies of the Future at the University of Houston-Clear Lake (UHCL), and also Dr Robert Burke a former CEO from Melbourne, Australia who later in his career was the Program Director and Futurist in Residence at The University of Melbourne, Melbourne Business School for 11+ years.

We welcome Dada Shambhushivananda as our special guest for our February release.
Born in 1949 in Shimla, India, Acharya Shambhushivananda Avadhuta, popularly known as Dada is a gold medalist of Punjab University, with a Ph.D in Business and Applied Economics from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He taught at several universities in the United States before choosing a monastic life in 1979.
