☪️ Harira is a traditional Moroccan soup that is super flavorful and hearty! There are different ways to make it but this is how I make it - feel free to add some lamb or meat for some extra deliciousness
INGREDIENTS
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 yellow onion
2 teaspoons turmeric
1 tablespoon garlic
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 to 3 teaspoons salt, more or less to taste
1 cup tomato sauce
3 cups water, or more if needed
1 packet of Maggi Harira soup
cilantro, finely chopped
parsley, finely chopped
chickpeas, drained from can
1 cup of red lentils (soaked overnight)

Definitely the best bread for French toast! Brioche bread is rich, buttery and fluffy and turns out perfect to make french toast. 😋🍞🍫
Ingredients :
Milk (of your choice)
Custard powder (approx 1 tbsp - very important)
1 egg
Cinnamon powder
Vanilla essence
Mix all the ingredients and let the bread soak for 30 secs. Let it cook on a medium heat pan for a few minutes and cook the other side.
I don’t have any measurements because it will all depends on the slices of bread you will be making. Trust your heart on this one 😂
It goes perfect with some chocolate, honey and fruits like banana, berries. Try it!!

Ingredients :
✨125 ml milk (I use Almond milk from @neofoodsmauritius)
✨2 tbsp chia seeds
✨1 tbsp cacao powder
✨Vanilla essence |
✨Sweetener of your choice (I use Agave)
✨Let rest overnight and then add toppings in the morning

Easy and Flavor packed Pulao

EASY AND PACKED WITH FLAVOR PULAO
This recipe has got to be one of my favorite and will become yours too. I make this pulao atleast once a month at home because it’s so easy to make, specially when I do not have the time and it’s almost dinner time. Leftovers make a great lunch for the next day. It’s in-laws approved btw. So you can send over some at your in-laws to score some brownie points. 😉
Ingredients :
▪ Rice (I used 1 cup of Alishaan Superba rice)
▪ Chicken ( 1 boneless thigh)
▪ 2 potatoes (cut in cubes)
▪Mixed veggies
▪ 2 onions
▪1 can of tomato paste or a few fresh tomatoes
▪oil
▪ginger and garlic paste
▪ chicken spice
▪paprika powder
▪coriander powder
▪Jafran
▪Yellow food color
▪fresh coriander
Method :
▪ Blend your onions to make a paste and keep aside
▪Blend your tomatoes to make a paste and keep aside (if you are using fresh ones)
▪ Half cook your rice and drain
▪Marinate your chicken with 2 tsp of ginger and garlic paste, chicken spice, paprika powder and coriander powder
▪ Cook the chicken in some oil and keep aside
▪ Deep fry your potato cubes (mixed with some yellow food color) and keep aside
▪ Add some oil in a pan and cook your onions for 4-6 mins on low heat
▪Add your tomatoes and let it cook for 3-5 minutes
▪Season your sauce with salt, pepper, a little bit of sugar to make the tomatoes less tangy and a little bit of garam masala
▪ Once the sauce is to your liking, add the chicken and turn off the heat
▪ Layer your ingredients in a rice cooker, starting off with some chicken, potatoes, mixed veggies and half of your rice.
▪Add some warm water in a cup, add some jafran and a little bit of yellow food color
▪Pour half of the mixture on top of the rice and do a second layer
▪Finish off with pouring the rest of the jafran mix on top and let it cook
▪ Once the cooker is done, garnish with some fried onions (optional) and fresh coriander
▪Serve ho

happy Saturday loves 🤎 I made this banana chocolate chips baked oats a few weeks ago and I have been obsessed with how good it tastes. You will love it 😍
recipe :
~ 1/2 cup oats
~ 1/2 tsp baking soda
~ 1 egg at room temperature
~ 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
~ cinnamon powder (optional)
~ 1/2 cup of almond milk ( or any milk you prefer)
~ 1 banana
~ honey/ any sweetener of your liking
Blend everything together until you get a smooth paste, add your chocolate chips & pop it in your pre-heated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 20-25 minutes (depending on your oven)
