Time for some me time!
Super fun to participate in the summer book exchange with
I was totally spoiled by 😍🎉 Thank you girlie!
A time was had out there were laughs and there was learning. The weekend festival delivered on scientists, stand up, and stargazing!
Some of the animals encountered on this trip. Numerous iguanas, an armadillo in the wild, uno gato who liked pets, a decomposing eel (and several dead fish), of course the beach horses. Most surprising was the little kitchen lizard I had in my suite. He was a cutie.
Happiness is having your WiFi automatically connect to the restaurant's network.
My first night in Mexico had to take a cab to , introduced my friends to the best food, drinks, and energy around. Memories I love Bucerías more than any place. I immediately begin smiling when I land at the airport.
Back where I love to be.
Vacation starts now!
Leaving on a ✈️ to paradise....
First coffee of 2024 courtesy of a steeped pack 🙏🏼☕ with Danish town views...
Needed a kick of caffeine after a night out celebrating the start of the new year at with ! A lovely weekend road trip from SoCal.
Gonna pour some wine and dig in to 's new book! So excited!
It's a great night for a rodeo!
Repping in Vegas this weekend.
Love the concept and inspiration behind this all electric food truck in the Greenville, South Carolina area.
Even better is seeing WAHS folks successful in their own chosen avenues. Supporting small businesses from afar is the least I can do, so when I can I'll buy their merch.
Celebrating my birthday in Bucerías was a dream come true. A week of sun, sand, and cervezas was definitely needed. Weeks ago I insisted my birthday dinner be at La Negra... and it did not disappoint.
A delicious meal, amazing vibe as usual, and a wonderful staff that welcomed us in like we're family. Hector and his wife have built a beautiful space in paradise!
Had to make a stop at the for to stock up on some empanadas/pastelitos for the next few weeks! They are delicious. Our favorites are the ground beef, but they have gluten free options including shredded beef and chicken!
Best past of the Palm Desert street fair at COD was having some delicious empanadas and hallacas for lunch! Check them out here or at the Palm Springs Village Fest on Thursdays.
This Cafe was the best find when visiting Old Town. The atmosphere is quaint, comfortable, and inviting. The dishes were absolutely delicious. Definitely take the recommendations from Victor if you are undecided on a dish. The service from staff was genuine and friendly. I will definitely be back, truly worth a special trip when in the San Diego area.
A lovely dinner at Waldhaus with schnitzel, veal chops, and fondue. So incredibly stuffed afterwards, but worked off the gluttony by hiking back to our hotel along the Bow River.
Thoroughly enjoyed the Whyte Museum, a lovely location with exhibits on Banff history, local lore, and displays of art.
I really loved their photo archive, which you can puruse in person or online!
First day of exploring in Banff, we walked around the shops, meandered along the Bow River trail, saw the Bow River Falls and the Fairmont Banff Springs.
Stopped for a perfect afternoon snack with some spicy Ceasar's and some appetizers at in Banff.
So very proud of my cousin and the success of her MFA art show at
Her work is beautiful! Wish we were there to celebrate with her at the closing reception this evening.
Drove south and stopped for a delicious lunch at Heritage Ranch in Red Deer. Delicious food and great local beer selection!
First stop for lunch in and we hit a teeny neighborhood diner, menu full of traditional diner food.... And of course bulgogi. This Korean owned gem hasn't changed in years, the current owner was a joy, and the meal was capped off by a fist bump and 'Happy Day!' exclamation.
Took in the exhibit at the this afternoon. I am not sure what I loved more, the transportation exhibit, or the beautiful iconography and color scheme of the murals and displays.
Of course had to stop at their gift shop too. I love their selection of regional arts and the Canadian made apparel!
We were leaving the museum when we learned of the Queen's passing. ...
Enjoying America's pastime on a beautiful summer night.
When you have training in the area, is the way to go for lunch.
Still hands down one of my favorite places in Mexico. Take the trip out of Puerto Vallarta to Bucerías and have dinner and drinks at ! The place is magical, the music is always a vibe, and the staff are attentive and make you feel right at home!
When your very talented cousin posts her painting on Twitter and it starts to go viral. 😻😻😻
Lucky to spend some time on the patio bar with Bubba at to let off some steam after a very long week.
Ways to survive your need for after they are closed? Stock up on their nitro cold brew cans. Or be like me and wave like a mad woman at the owners through the window and get an after hours fix.
I'm only joking about the second party...
Slightly.
