WHAT TRANSPIRED AT FIK FAMEICA’s CONCERT.

It was around 10pm that Eddy Kenzo arrived at Fik Fameica’s show at Lugogo Cricket Oval organized by a one events promoter Musa Kavuma commonly known as KT Promotionz.

Immediately Kenzo’s security team went to the gate professionally to inquire from Mr KT (who was heavily guarded more than some artists) on where Kenzo was to pass and access the stage. He shouted on top of his voice “Muve wano Temunsumbuwa, Kenzo ave mu motoka ajje ayitewo” So Kenzo calmly decided to call back his security team and we parked at Game thinking that maybe they’ll come back to their senses and make way for his vehicle to enter but WAAPI. The same thing happened to Mudra coz we found him in scuffle with the same people/person on the gate and he left and I’m sure he didn’t perform.

What if someone stubs or hurts him/her?
What if his/her vehicle is burnt by his enemies?
If there’s no respect for a performer, who is respected then?
Honestly, which international artist would you command to live his or her hired car outside and walk to the venue up to the stage by himself or herself?

YES, Fik Fameica might not have known about what happened but it should be mandatory for Ugandan performers to cater for their fellows the even more than they do for their international counterparts. (If you wanna be respected, respect first. Please Ugandan musicians & performers learn to respect your fellow local musicians who even stand in for you at a zero cost)

Another funny thing is, Mwe the so called ‘critics’ mulekere awo okujja mu shows mubeera temuwela mwebwaala bwaala, Mwena mwelalikilira naye kyemunoonya mujja kifuna. Mujja kuggwa mu ggaali z’abasajja😅

Yet again, this morning, We have yet again woken up with news of the arrest of our brother Baguma Crescent, aka Beenie Gunter in Abhudhabi, United Arab Emirates.

This is so disturbing to hear that our brother is still being held, yet news coming in indicates that he was third party to the chaos being investigated.

Well as the President of the Federation, I'm trying ma best getting in touch with H.E Zaake Kibedi, the Ambassador of Uganda in United Arab Emirates to make sure our brother gets justice and is set free as soon as possible and those that are responsible be charged for their crimes.

I continue to urge all of you, my talented brothers and sisters, to continue being vigilant.

This new year 2024, all of us are winners. Let's keep focus.
