Been inactive on here for awhile but it’s been a busy summer! Hanging cameras and many many dollars spent in minerals/corn. Heres a couple bucks that caught my eye this year hoping to get some film out. 2 doe tags as well shaping up to be a good fall! Took a trip to Benezette this weekend to catch the start of the elk rut as well and it didn’t disappoint! 7 Screaming bulls.

Often times I hear other hunters talking about birds with 2” spurs and 12” beards or old birds and all other kinds and I often think how awesome it would be to harvest one that big. But at the end of the day I really take into consideration how hard turkey hunting is and how quickly we get caught up in that moment. I’ve had 5 long beards hammering in a hollow and I’ve had 5 jakes doing the same thing and both times it’ll make your adrenaline go sky high. That’s the beauty of not only hunting but turkey hunting itself. This particular hunt this year in Pennsylvania I a good friend of mine and I brought 5 jakes in and this one had the longest beard. Caught trying to move the camera they ran to the other side of the field and thats when I cut hard and let a 3-1/2” fly. At 86 steps I hit him well enough to kill him. Luckiest shot I’ll ever make in my life but one exciting hunt that I’ll never forget. Between the exciting hunts this year in Pennsylvania as well as a trip to Kentucky where I met new friends this was by far my favorite. I cannot wait for next spring but for now the momentum shifts to checking cameras and lots of scouting for the fall. I Hope everyone had a fun spring in the woods and wish the best of luck to everyone in the fall.

🔹A couple announcements for this year.
🔸Starting off with a trip to Kentucky for opening weekend April 14th-17th.
🔹Then squeezing in a quick youth hunt in Pennsylvania April 23rd
🔸Followed by opening weekend here in Pennsylvania April 30th.
🔹Then the opening weekend of New York’s season May 6th-8th.
🔸Then it’s back to Pennsylvania to take out Family and Friends!
🔹Hoodies/Shirts/Decals still available as well Women’s/Men’s S-XL decals are 6”x6”.

Late season has begun here in Pennsylvania 🦌, with turkey season quickly following. With that said I’m open most days for filming if anyone would like their hunt captured! Also running some semi guided hunts for the late season with the first week of turkey open for anyone as well. Last year was an amazing year for turkeys we got on tons of birds and it was definitely one for the books! DM me today to talk about some openings I have available! ~Garrett

As archery season has come to a close here for now in Pennsylvania and everyone turning to our gun season I wanted to take the time to post about my early November buck. With about 3 days of hunting this season I grunted in this basket 8. Working 50+ hours a week with no weekends off makes it hard to connect with a buck. Now I shift my eyes to West Virginia gun season and maybe a doe or two here in the keystone state. Good luck to everyone as the season everyone awaits is slowly coming to a close.
