Greetings from the Windy City! Shannon had the opportunity to check out several breweries in the Chicago area this weekend.

1st stop was the new Guinness Open Gate location (), which just opened this past week. Great space, inside and outside seating, fast service. The wooden design over the bar mimics the famous Guinness Harp. The space is accented with sleek industrial touches. Shannon tried the Mango Chili Ale (A+) and a sample the classics stout. Parking is still being worked out as construction is being completed but this is a place you should check out if in the West Loop area.

Next stop was , the largest independently owned brewery in Chicago. Philip was an amazing tour guide, sharing the ins and out of their brewing process, sustainably efforts and current innovations in craft beer.
Favorite brews included the Freedom Lemonade and Gold Snap.

We ❤️ breweries in the fall. We recently checked out a true gem in Norwalk CT
Incredible beers all around from their imperial pumpkin, Treecat west coast IPA or the MVP ORION NEIPA there’s a brew for everyone. Amazing outdoor space with Edison lights and an industrial interior that invites you to hang with a beer (or a few). Dog friendly and chill alternative tunes.

Your eyes are not playing a trick on you. James is holding (que darth vader theme) a Budweiser. We took the pod out to St. Louis and had to check out the Anheuser-Busch factory.

We skipped the standard brewery tour you can get at any brewery and instead trotted along for the Clydesdale VIP tour. This was DEFINITELY worth it as we learned all about the majestic horses that play such a huge roll in Budweiser’s commercials and brand. Having a brew in the stables and one from a beer truck were added perks to experience. It was nice to see that these horses receive VIP treatment too.

Another week, another brew day in planning. So far 2022 has been a brew heavy year with plenty of homebrews and new styles to attempt.

Hot side 3V electric system and steam condenser.
We may have added our first conical to our fermenter fleet to keep up with production 😂.

Had a blast checking out Canton MA location this past weekend. Plenty of indoor seating with couches, full long bar, stellar patio space and plenty of parking 😂. Tunes were on point and most importantly the wicked awesome craft beer
