CHAPTER 4
The boss office
My Pov
Ahh... you got this, there nothing you can't do remember. For some reason I felt strange like have been here before ,there was this feeling that took control of me,like there's something familiar but I just couldn't think of any reason I should be familiar with such a place. Well I couldn't wait to see this good boss of mine. Okay here I go( the manager opened the door and we walked in).
FRANCIS POV
Any moment from now she is gonna walk into my office, am sure she will be shocked. Even I myself would be shocked if am in her shoes. I watched as they entered my office with my eyes pasted solely on her to see her reaction, I watched as she opened her mouth agape as she walked into the office, I expected that reaction as it our idea to decorate the office that way.
Francis: Good afternoon, you must be Ms. Dom...[ what when and why did she change her name ,or did I get it all wrong but that can't be possible, I can't make such a mistake nothing much had changed over the years except for the usual changes of an adolescent
Dominic: Dominic
Francis: huh [she said suddenly drifting me from my thought]
Dominic: Am Ms. Dominic sir
Francis: [You have got to be kidding me right now, is this some kind of prank or something, I mean I can't be wrong]. Ok, Ms. Dominic welcome to my office, I was waiting for her reaction may one that shows she remembers me but I got nothing of that , I get the fact that I wasn't there when her mother left or when her dad died but still this was to much to take in.
DOMINIC POV
I left my mouth agape because the office looked like it was created for a king. I was shocked beyond words?. Like am gonna be working here gosh, is this for real, like gosh. The moment I saw the boss, I was engrossed my beauty, he looked like an angel from heaven. Then that sensation came on me again this time bigger and heavier like have been here before, like I had walked into the doors of the office or I had met the boss before.

CHAPTER 3
MY POV,
A WEEK LATER
You better wash those dishes before you think of leaving this house useless brat,I had Mrs. Flourish say as she walked through the door to her car. Then I ran out to take my bath and do the dishes and other chores I was given, when I was done with my work I checked my email maybe one of those job application has been answered. When I saw the notification that popped up the screen I scream and everyone was giving me the" who is this mad woman" or "who let this mad woman here" eye but I didn't care regardless as I was so focus on the joy of leaving Mrs. Flourish though she has been very helpful but at times she is a pain in the neck.
HONEY CARE CENTER
Receptionist: Good afternoon, Welcome to Honey care center, please who are you and how may I help you.
Me: Good afternoon ma, my name is... and am here because I was told to come here on behalf of the caretaker work
Receptionist: ok, let me check [typing in the computer]. Yes, You've been giving the position let we check with the CEO so he give further instructions. Ok he asked you to meet him in his office, that will be quicker if you take the second elevator to your left.
Me: Thanks alot. I was overjoyed, infact words couldn't describe my feelings. I went to where the nice lady described and met with the manager, after alot of rules and regulations were given he directed me to the my office or class then I saw secretary written boldly on the desk, I was shocked because I was sure I didn't apply for that, but he said the boss wanted it like that. I had no choice than to take in the news.
FRANCIS POV
I sat still watching as she was shocked about the new development. I wonder how she will reacts once she sees me , like how will you react when you see your best friend after so many years of separation. Oh gosh! Am so nervous.

WILSON POV
Gosh it another bright morning, it is high time I go back home and check on Dom. It been quite long since we see each other. I just hope mom is not stressing her with extra chores when she knows Patricia my younger sister, can do some of the work. Oh yeah! Forgot to introduce myself sorry it skipped my mind as I was only thinking about how Dom has been fending, oops am doing it again, sorry. My name is Wilson Jack, first son to Mrs. Flourish Jack and Mr. Jack, I have a lazy younger sister two to be precise named Patricia and Stella (note they are both scheming so avoid getting on their shoe or you're dead. Am in my early 20's, and also in love with the new maid my Mom brought that I guess you all know the answer to that, yep you are right Dominic she is the woman who stole my heart when I thought I had none, I can be classified as cold-hearted except you are close like really close to me like my Friend Francis CEO of Honey Care Center the HCC.
FEW HOURS LATER
Finally am home, can't wait to see my pals and most especially Dominic.
DOMINIC POV
I just couldn't shut my eyes and am very much aware that The Jack family are around well except from the eldest and only son. So I had to sneak out of my room to take in some fresh air and be one with nature abit. As I was tiptoeing out of the house I accidentally bumbed into someone, oops! am so sorry I didn't mean to bump into you please accept my apolo.. my words got struck into my throat as I realized that standing before my employers' son [yep the cold and aloof son, which one were you thinking of]. Am so sor..ry, I stuttered knowing fully well this could cost me my job and accomodation as I had no where to live.
WILSON:Hmm.[was all I could say because...you all know]
DOMINIC:Am sorry sir, I didn't mean to bump into you please forgive me[I knelt as I begged for forgiveness]
WILSON: Leave
DOMINIC:Please forgive me sir it will never happen again, I promise

NIGHT FALLS
EPISODE 4
FRANCIS POV
I laid in bed being devastated that the so-called friend of mine wouldn't speak to me and for some reason I thought something was wrong with her, there were so many changes that I couldn't tell what was going on in her head. I mean the girl I know would never drink water from the public place because of reasons I couldn't quite recall, she was a soft and shy girl, I understand that people can change over time but all those bu****it were just too much for me, especially not now that I have the most wonderful news for her, one she would never see coming. I was so excited about telling her about the news that I came personally to Nigeria to inform and see her after all it been long time and have missed her,I was even more jovial when I found out she had applied for a job here though not what I was expecting but it was still ok has I changed the position of her work to being my secretary. Am going to get to the bottom of this and make her talk to me back like we were before.
DOMINIC POV
Gosh! today was stressful and also great, I was ready to retire to bed but I remembered that I was not done with the chores madam sent to me and her two daughters would come in here making a noise about how lazy I am and I will receive more scoldings if her cold and aloof spoilt brat of a son comes in because he is such a neat freak and hate,I mean hate staying in a dirty environment. After I was done with the chores and cleaning, I retired to bed because I had a very big day awaiting for me. I rolled left and right and just couldn't get that perfect spot for me to lie down so I went outside of my room obviously after checking the time which was boldly written 9pm. I groaned not understanding why I couldn't just shut my eyes.

CHAPTER 2
Knocks sounds kept coming from the door but I was in no mood to answer. After realizing the person would not be leaving soon I decided to open the door and immediately I slammed the door shut back because the person at the door was no other than my dad's useless mistress then my mother words came back ringing in my head and I had no choice than to put on an act of kindness and open the door for the witch to enter. She entered with some other men I knew nothing about, before I could say who are they she drowned me in insults that the words got stuck in my throat after her blabbering I decided to tell her about what had befall her so called husband aka my dad🙄. Her reactions left me dumbfounded, infact I was lost with words but that wasn't even the shocking thing.
She ordered me to go to my room and get my things and disappear from HER house; the HER was expressed enough for me to hear that I had no choice but to question her
Me: ma i don't get you
Wife: you will never get
Me: But this my father's house
Wife: And so?
Me: You can't just say I should leave and just claim the house to be yours.
Wife: Are you ok?, who are you to speak when am speaking? And who said the house is not mine! (She growled like a dog who had not been fed for months). I said take your things and leave but you are acting all superior like am your foolish mother or so, well since you don't wanna listen to my instructions let me try the one you understand better. Davis take her far away from here I want nothing to do with her (she said, to the person on by her side) and before I could shout for help he had bounce on me and tie me up all my actions to get released from his grip proved futile, then suddenly I was able to move abit but I had moved towards a table and knocked down a glass vase which thereafter shattered on my head and all I heard was get her out of here and kill her without any trace and that I could remember before darkness overcrowded me.

I am so sorry for leaving you behind but I can't take anymore of this suffering and have decided to run away to the world of the unknown but remember I will always love you. Stay happy, stick to the morals have taught you, don't hate but love and always remember that God answers prayers

That was it, I was now motherless or would I say an orphan, yep that the right word to use, why? you might ask but am sure you must have gotten the summary, if not because he his an heartless monster who is bent on torturing my mother and I. Yep it what you are thinking , my dad will maltreat both my mum and I sometimes I wonder if am is real daughter. I thought all was alright until I recieved a strange call, it was call my dad's number but the caller was unknown to me
Caller: Please am I unto Mr Derek's daughter
Me: Yes please who am I speaking and what your connection with my dad [obviously I couldn't let a stranger know about my plight].
Caller: I am Dr James from Health is Wealth hospital and your dad was administered to my ward not to long ago.
Me: Why?, is he alright?, am on my way please save him he is all I got.
Caller: Am sorry, we tried our best but unfortunately we lost him.
That was the last straw, I couldn't take it anymore . I screamed at the universe for giving me such hard life and am sure the doctor was still on the call as he was trying to console me but I just would not listen, it was over, then a knock came from the door jolting me from my thoughts.
