I just posted a map of Black Owned Bookstores in the United States. A commentor responded and let me know that one of the locations listed on the map Turning Page Bookshop is at risk of closing due to slow sales. I went to their page and saw that this is heartbreakingly true. Ladies, she is the ONLY Black bookstore in South Carolina. We cannot let this happen. I know many of us follow Keith Lee on tiktok, and we've seen what the power of community can accomplish. This is a call for us to step up and support her business in any way we can.
1. If you can, please consider donating to her Gofundme. I don't want to link directly to the Gofundme in case that goes against group rules, but if you go to the page, you'll see her posts with links to her Gofundme.
2. If you're local, please stop by and give her some business.

4. If funds are tight, consider giving her business a shout-out on social media. I know we have some booktokers in this group. If you have a platform, please consider using it to give her a boost.
I don't want to sit by and quietly watch another one of us lose something that she worked so hard for and is so vital to the community. I know we can come together and save her bookstore.
