Since 2014, I’ve been heavy in the indie manga scene, driven by my passion for storytelling and creativity that has been with me since childhood. I’ve created multiple series, assisted many other creators, published and printed many books, it’s been a fun ride that’s for sure.

December last year, I made a significant decision regarding my publishing company, Pulse Manga. After years of hard work and dedication, Pulse Manga is no more, as we’ve merged with Shrine Comics, bringing together a powerhouse of talent and creativity. This decision wasn’t made lightly; it was something Jin the founder of Shrine Comics and I had been discussing for quite some time.

Our vision with Shrine Comics is an ambitious one. To become the Shonen Jump of the Western world, delivering visually stunning artwork and captivating stories that resonate with manga and comic readers worldwide. But beyond just creating content, we aim to forge careers and make a lasting impact in the world of manga and comics.

With a dedicated team by our side and a renewed focus on our goals, I’m genuinely excited for the future of Shrine Comics. However, I do want to acknowledge that we’ve been somewhat quiet lately. As we navigate this transition, I kindly ask for your patience and support. While the merger is complete, our focus now shifts to ironing out the business side of things to ensure Shrine Comics operates at its highest level.

So stay tuned, because the adventure is just beginning, and it’s bound to be epic!

SHRINE COMICS is thrilled to officially welcome Pulse Manga into the Shrine Comics family. This exciting collaboration has been in the works for some time, as hinted at earlier this year when we licensed some Pulse titles to feature on our platform. We are delighted to see this vision come to fruition. Both Pulse and Shrine share a common dream of fostering a vibrant community around independent manga, and we believe that together, we can achieve this goal more effectively.

As we embark on this new chapter, all Pulse series will now proudly bear the SHRINE COMICS brand. In the upcoming weeks, we will be progressively adding each Pulse series to our platform, aiming to complete this integration by the end of January.

Additionally, the Pulse brand will undergo a transformation, with further details to be unveiled in a future announcement.

This marks just the beginning of an exciting journey with SHRINE COMICS. Stay tuned for new and exhilarating developments as we work towards bringing you a plethora of fresh and innovative content!
