Endless Grace
In the paradise of Eden,
Adam sinned against his God.
Cursing all the world around him,
Bringing death for those to come.
Now he hid from Him who loved him,
Fearing punishment, withdrew.
Who would think that his Creator
Would give him grace undue?
Refrain
But endless grace, endless grace came flowing down,
Flowing from my Savior’s side.
He rescued me, rescued me from dreadful sin;
Now by His grace, I stand with Him.
Jesus came from heav’n to suffer
For the hopeless human race.
Bearing all of my transgressions,
On the cross He took my place.
Buried in a tomb of darkness,
But it could not hold Him in.
He now lives, my risen Savior,
Redeeming me from sin!
Refrain
But endless grace, endless grace came flowing down,
Flowing from my Savior’s side.
He rescued me, rescued me from dreadful sin;
Now by His grace, I stand with Him.
When I stand before my Savior,
Clothed in grace that Christ bestowed,
With no fear that He’ll condemn me,
By His stripes I am His own.
Then I’ll cast my crowns before Him,
Giving thanks to Him who died,
Hoping for His words of blessing,
“Well done, My faithful child!”
Refrain
But endless grace, endless grace came flowing down,
Flowing from my Savior’s side.
He rescued me, rescued me from dreadful sin;
Now by His grace, I stand with Him.
