SLTUNES.COM Radio Station was founded in August 2006 by Taft Worsley and Deejay Beat with the addition of Radio Popstar’s partnership in 2008. The station continuously broadcasted within the world of Second Life® until July 2014. At that time, the station partners decided to silence the station and went off-air to pursue other real world business and family ventures. Since the station went off-air

, we have had an overwhelming request from our listening fans through Facebook and in-world IMs over past two years to bring back our quality radio programming along with our dedication, commitment and focus on the Second Life® Users and in-world community. This had us thinking we need to bring this in-world long-standing icon back from the dead air. Therefore, in the beginning of March 2017 we decided it was time to bring the in-world radio station back, better than ever with the grand re-opening and kick-off just in time for the Top 500-song countdown Memorial Day weekend. So at 12:00AM on May 26, 2017 be ready to tune in. We are grateful to all the loyal listeners who sent messages and requests for us to bring the station back. We have established our in-world location and we are working to get the music streaming and website back online as soon as we can. We look forward to serving your music and Second Life® advertising needs moving forward and we are excited to add a bunch of new features and streams. Stay Tuned and soon your land will be listening again!!
