So I have been gone for the past two years, wish I could say that I have a stockpile of material to release, but that couldn't be further from the truth. So take this post as something of a "pre goodbye". I'm not going to be going on a apology tour but I'm not going to get sappy about it either. Might be kind of ranty in some spots and I might come off as di***sh, but for the sake of transparency and even legality, I figured it would be in my best interest in being as honest and up front as possible, but really just an explanation of where I have been and where the label is going in the future.
Several things that I need to address...
1. I'm afraid that I have simply fallen by the wayside with any of this stuff, and truth is, I have sorely been lacking in any sort of motivation. Everything playing music feels like it's a chore. From coming up with ideas for artwork (its played out) and coming up with song names, to doing vocals and mixing the songs. I also no longer play guitar, I sold the one I had a year ago to this day, and haven't touched one since. It has nothing to do with "finding God" or some bitch-made s**t like "learned how to respect women" or "got a gf". It's no longer enjoyable to make music and it's no longer sustainable as a hobby.
2. As for the label: I have several more releases to add under the label. After that, I may do a few more releases from some homies and call it a day for the label. Furthermore, I am renouncing and disavowing any ownership of any music that you have released under the label. Your music is now 100% with no caveats. You can do whatever you want with it, release it here, put on a compilation there, etc. I am no longer responsible for it. Do what you want with it. I claim no ownership or responsibility.
3. Merch and shipping: Shipping will be exclusively for the Lower 48 States. I know I have a lot of fans overseas but there's new import fees, taxes, and tarriffs, I know that it is going to upset some, but there is no way that I can ship out of the US for an acceptable rate. I'm not going to get into the politics side of it either. It is what it is.
Also, merch from here on out will be printed/produced in small qualities. Like runs of a maximum of five pieces with no intention of re-issuing them in the foreseeable future.
4. Future endeavors: There are two things that I am working on away from all of this. I have an industrial metal band that's been in the works since 2022 with some names you would know and I am working on a comic, definitely inspired by 90s horror and cyborg anime, that has a treatment that's 70% complete. I can't be too specific on either projects, but defintely something if you want to look out for in the future. Other questions you might have...
5. Whatever happened to (really cool weeb/goregrind guy/project)?: Unfortunately, I no longer keep in touch with the majority of people in that scene. A lot of them seem to no longer make music, and some switched genres completely altogether. Personally, in my near 15 years of doing this, some people have died, whether family members or some guys that I have worked with in the scene. I'm trying to reduce my involvement with the people here. Kind of a "quiet quitting" in the scene, if you will.
6. Are you coming back to Facebook?: Alright, so here's the deal. I wanted to come back to Facebook under a new account and type and post this out personally, but alas. Upon signing up for a new account, I was banned straight from the jump for absolutely no reason and given 180 days to make an appeal. Upon requesting an appeal, I was required to submit a video selfie for identification, which I am highly uncomfortable with doing. So my presence on FB is a no-go. Other than that, I don't miss the website.
7. Will you ever do (really cool project of yours from years back)?: No, I can't say that I will. This style no longer interests me. To be honest, it's miraculous that I have kept doing this for as long as I have.
That's it. Wherever we go from here on out, it will be for the better.
