LOS QUE SE FUERON is a collection of interviews exploring what it means to be a young Puerto Rican living in the U.S. After all, the island is experimenting the biggest migration wave since the 20th century: over 200,000 boricuas have moved to the U.S. LOS QUE SE FUERON explores the stories of millennial Puerto Ricans who have moved to places like the usual Florida and New York and odd choices suc

h as Arkansas and Virginia. Some leave because of their studies, others because of job opportunities. A couple of them had everything planned out and some others just bought a one-way ticket without knowing what was awaiting them. All have different political ideologies, feelings about Puerto Rico and opinions on the debt crisis. But they have something in common: they will always be seen as LOS QUE SE FUERON, the ones who left.
