Ashby is perfect summer pop! It is melodic and light on the toes, urban and rural, but most of all extremely catchy and well-sounding. Hamburg-based Marina Records recently reissued this one on vinyl and it is one of the best sounding records in my collection. Warmly recommended!

Originally released in 2005, Looks Like You’ve Already Won is the second LP from Ashby (duo Evelyn Pope and William Cowie) - a bright, breezy, season-appropriate collection, brimming with finely-turned tunes and baroquely Bacharachian arrangements.
