It is my pleasure to present to you an all new brass band entertainment contest.

Brass Factor has been created to provide you with a different style of brass band performance with the competitive spirit of contesting, and the pleasure of creative entertainment. Not only does such an evening provide the finest, highly qualified judges opinions, it also gives the audience the chance to vote for their favourite performance on the evening. The idea of Brass Factor originated when

someone brought to my attention a feature in the Sun newspaper. The article showed the decline of brass bands, a national tradition, over the last four decades. This provided me with the inspiration to try and bring a new light and concept to how we view brass bands. I hope that the Brass Factor concept I have organised will encourage you and the next generation to support brass bands in the future. Please enjoy looking around the page and website to see how far Brass Factor has come to date. I am forever looking for ideas on how to evolve the idea, but have a strong vision of making Brass Factor into a regional phenomenon. Having already reached an audience of over a million people, Brass Factor is only a few steps away from becoming the next big thing.
