The weather feels like Fall but the fishing sure doesn’t! Took a quick solo trip to the lake this morning and wound up working a lot harder than I expected to to catch a few decent spots. The still almost 80 degree water temps and the turnover getting into full swing seems to have these fish lethargic and not wanting to chase baits almost at all. I have high hopes for the few weeks as the Fall topwater bite is right around the corner!
