About Us
Filmcopia is a new full-service production company based in Carmel, California created by highly experienced professionals with current roots in the production worlds of Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York and abroad. Its concept is to produce high-end content in a low-stress environment. The work is the same, the professionalism is the same, but the process is a heck of a lot more fun.
Its founder, Philippe Denham, has 25 years of experience working with Disney, National Geographic, Discovery, Lion’s Gate, History Channel, NBC, CBS among many others. He is a two-time Emmy Award nominee and a showrunner with a four-page resume which includes numerous independent features, over a hundred hours of television and an eclectic array of “out of the box” content. Filmcopia's concept is to offer all the expertise of an L.A./N.Y shoot to the Central Coast. Of course, our bags are always packed and we're ready to hit the road! Philippe and his team have produced and directed everything from crime dramas, to award-winning documentaries, to music videos, to internet branded content. He is on the "short-list" of showrunners for all the major cable networks.
Filmcopia is a place where you’ll work closely with congenial professionals who will produce without pretense and keep the budgets honest. The crews are a combination of local talent and of Emmy Award-winning professionals from L.A. and New York with whom Philippe has long-standing relationships.
