Oh, Bali, you stole our hearts and left us with memories that will last a lifetime! 💖✨ From the enchanting beaches to the lush green rice terraces, this Indonesian paradise is truly a slice of heaven on Earth. And let’s not forget about the magical Gili Islands that stole our breath away!
A few years ago, I embarked on a 3-week adventure to Bali with my boys, and let me tell you, it was pure bliss! ☀️🌊 We spent our days diving into crystal-clear waters, exploring vibrant coral reefs, and basking in the golden sunsets that painted the sky with hues of orange and pink. It was a tropical dream come true!
The Gili Islands, with their white sandy beaches and laid-back vibe, were like a secret oasis. We snorkelled with sea turtles, indulged in delicious seafood feasts, and danced under the starry night sky. It was a paradise within a paradise!

Grab your coffee ow wine (no judgement here) and get comfy because this is going to be a long (but oh-so-worth-it) post. 📚☕️ I'm sharing a heartfelt blog post about my journey and the "why" behind creating The Wander Coach and the Digital Success Academy. 🌐💖

If you had told me 24 years ago when I embarked on my very first girls' holiday to Tenerife that I would one day be building a digital empire in the travel industry, I would've laughed heartily over my cocktail. But here I am, two decades, countless countries, and a whirlwind of experiences later , pouring my heart and soul into the Wander Coach and Digital Success Academy.⁣

Once upon a time in the land of dragons, daffodils, and leek pies—Wales, if you hadn't guessed—a wide-eyed young girl, with a heart full of wanderlust and a head full of dreams, named me, decided to swap her wellies for flip-flops and take a one-way flight to Malia, Greece. The mission? To get paid to party! If that's not a fairy tale job for an 22-year-old, I don't know what is!⁣

So, there I was, living the dream, partying away, and charming tourists as a holiday rep. What's not to love? Well, let me tell you, my friends, behind the endless parties and the exotic locales, there was a lot of hard work. But who was I to complain? I was a Welsh girl in Greece, getting drunk, a tan, and a paycheck!⁣

My passion for travel and, admittedly, my knack for charming the socks off anyone led me to become a destination manager at the ripe old age of 24. Now, this was the life: a dream job, a salary as appealing as a sun-kissed Greek god, a company car, and all expenses paid. But let me tell you, I was working harder than Hercules during his Twelve Labours.⁣
⁣
When I became pregnant with my first love Oliver, the frenetic pace of my job was no longer sustainable. I switched gears and entered the less hectic, but equally rewarding realm of hotel contracting. The job provided a healthier work-life balance. But a nagging voice inside me whispered, "You're building someone else's dream, love."⁣
⁣
So, armed with a dream and a healthy dose of Welsh stubbornness, I started my own villa and apartment rental business. Being my boss was fantastic, and the money was rolling in faster than the tide at Barry Island. But the long hours returned, now with two energetic boys, who, I swear, have more energy than the Welsh rugby team!⁣

The long summer breaks were the toughest. With my boys off school from mid-June to mid-September, I wanted to take them on Dragon-Hunting adventures not wait for guests arriving at ungodly hours! That's when I knew I had to find a better way.⁣

Thus, the idea of the Wander Coach and Digital Success Academy was born.⁣

The Wander Coach is a platform that brings together my love for travel, my wealth of experience in the industry, and my desire to help others navigate the complex world of discounted holiday travel.
