WHAT IS SDG's?

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's) are a collection of 17 global goals set by the United Nations General Assembly in 2015 for the year 2030. The SDGs are part of Resolution 70/1 of the United Nations General Assembly, the 2030 Agenda.

The Sustainable Development Goals are the blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. They address the global challenges we face, including those related to poverty, inequality, climate, environmental degradation, prosperity, and peace and justice. The Goals interconnect and in order to leave no one behind, it ís important that we achieve each Goal and target by 2030.

WHY WAS SDG's CREATED?

The SDGs build on the success of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and aim to go further to end all forms of poverty. The new Goals are unique in that they call for action by all countries, poor, rich and middle-income to promote prosperity while protecting the planet.

▪️ Spaghetti is a quick staple food in Nigeria.

▪️Pasta is made from wheat flour.

▪️Spaghetti is a type of pasta, that looks like noodle.

▪️Pasta is native to the italians.

MAIN INGREDIENTS
🔹Spaghetti (1 pack ) 500 grams
🔹Fresh tomatoes (6 - 8 pieces)
🔹Tinned tomatoes (140g)
🔹Chicken, meat or fish (of choice)
🔹Fresh peppers (to taste)
🔹Onion (1 large bulb)
🔹Dried thyme (1/2 tbsp)
🔹Garlic cloves (5 cloves)
🔹Ginger (half crushed finger)
🔹Curry powder (2 tbsp)
🔹Thyme (1 tbsp)
🔹Salt (to taste)
🔹Chicken/meat stock
🔹Seasoning cubes (to taste)
🔹3 cooking spoons Vegetable oil
🔹1 cooking spoons crayfish
🔹Bay leaves (3 leaves)
🔹Chicken, beef, goat or fish flavour
🔹Salt (to taste,)

OPTIONAL INGREDIENTS
🔸Nutmeg (1 tsp of ground)
🔸Paprika powder ( 1 tsp )
🔸Crayfish ( 2 ground tbsp )
🔸Red bell pepper ( 2 medium size )
🔸Black pepper ( 1 ground tsp )
🔸Curry leave ( a handful )
🔸White peppers
🔸Chicken gizzards
🔸Fresh/dried Prawns or shrimps
🔸Smoked paprika (1/4 tsp )
🔸Butter (1 tbsp )
🔸Dried or Smoked fish ( Catfish )
🔸Stew mixed spices
🔸Various seasonings
🔸Vegetables ( carrots, green beans, peas )

ALTERNATIVE INGREDIENTS
♦️Chicken, goat, beef or fish
♦️Fresh or tinned tomatoes
♦️Tinned, canned or satchel tomatoes
♦️Thyme or rosemary
♦️Vegetable oil or palm oil
♦️Stock cube or bouillon powder
♦️Seasoning flavours of choice.
♦️Fresh/dried Prawns or shrimps
♦️Tatashe or shombo
♦️Veggies ( of choice )

Cooking method;

Parboil the spaghetti with little salt and oil to avoid sticky for 5mins.
Drain the water and put aside.

Fry the stew separate.

Note:- Do not add salt to avoid excessive amount.
Add you meat and other protein.
Now add the parboiled spaghetti and mix well to incorporate.
Leave to steam for 2mins.
Ready to serve!
