This time we are selling shirts declaring a FREE AFRICA 🤩🌍🕊️💃🏾All of the profits will be donated directly to the iHeartAfrica non-profit that is providing humanitarian relief in the DRC ❣️🎽🇨🇩

✨ TASTE OF AFRICA -- CULTURAL EXTRAVAGANZA ✨ is coming up THIS Friday & Saturday, May 17-18, 2024 at the UCSB Stroke Lawn and Isla Vista Theater, respectively. All are welcome to join us in continuing this wonderful community tradition 😍

The Taste of Africa event at UCSB aims to provide the community at large with a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the diverse and rich cultural traditions that are found across the African continent and diaspora. Attendees will have the chance to savor authentic African cuisines, feel the rhythmic and therapeutic beats of traditional drumming, witness captivating dance performances, appreciate the intricacies of diverse African arts, indulge in the beauty of African fashions, and experience African History through short presentations.

💥 Day one : Friday 5/17, at UCSB Storke Lawn from 12-3 pm features a cultural fair with traditional African drumming, African country info booths, short African History presentations & more!
💥Day two : Saturday 5/18, at Isla Vista Theater from 7-9:30 pm features a variety of contemporary African artistic performances, dinner and community building.
