Finally winding down for the year at Redcap Productions - and what a year it's been!

Probably our most fulfilling year as a production company.

2024 saw a huge increase in our aerial work, along with repeat work from clients like Arts Ekta, HRAV, St John Ambulance, Artichoke Trust and The Green Party Northern Ireland.

On the arts side of things it was great to be asked to be a part of the Little Amal, Belfast Mela and Shadowdock stories. It was also a pleasure to produce a video showcasing the largest mural in Ireland.

Earlier in the year we began production on our largest project yet - a multi video series for Northern Ireland Kidney Research Fund (we hope to share the finished product later in the year).

All in all, a fun/stressful/rewarding year.

The Maedb was one of three locomotives built in Dublin in 1939, the last to be built in the Inchicore CIE Works. The engine worked mostly on the Dublin - Cork railway line.

Now it sits lovingly restored at Ulster Transport Museum, Cultra and it was a pleasure to film a piece of history for an Australian documentary.
