👉 Over the last 7 weeks most of the interviews that I have published have been of businesses that in some way or another have been economically affected, in most cases significantly by the Lockdown. Who knows when life will return to (a new) normal but when it does please do consider buying small, buying local.

👉 The business I interview are examples of businesses you will find everywhere. Solid people, solid businesses. Also, they are a part of the life blood of the British economy. As we start to get use to the strange new normal, please consider buying local first. Buy doing so you will be doing so much good and helping this country get back up in its feet. Much love 🙌

Amazing to hear 👂 such loud bird song out on our daily trip to the woods. I actually don't ever remember hearing such loud bird song in the UK before.

There have been so many changes that have occurred as a result of lockdown, some good, some very bad. However, I have personally been change by this time. And I'm glad to say for the better.

Meeting all the cool people that have come on the podcast, spending time in nature with my family and for once, having time to think has been precious. A bit like the sound of such beautiful bird song....

Forgot to put this up with yesterday's post. This is the spot that Ophelia, the painting by Sir John Everett Millais was actually painted. Crazy what you find when your walking the dog in this little corner of SW London....

Out walking the dog today with our son at a small river close to where we live in SW London called the Hogsmill. I've always thought it was a particularly beautiful spot. However, today our dog did his normal dog thing and jumped into the river running through a clearing in the trees on the river bank. Again, I thought to myself this really is a pretty spot. My son and I went down to the river's edge and when our dog climbed out and up the river bank to carry on his walk we notice a sign covered by a bush. When we pulled the bush back to see what was written on the sign we were amazed to see that where our dog so regularly jumps in the river for splash and a play is the very spot the Sir John Everett Millais painted the beautiful and world famous painting 'Ophelia'. It appears I'm not the only one to think this is beautiful river.

Love a bit of understated beauty and I love where I live! I also love what's on my physical doorstep, not just what's on my digital one!

Just finished interviewing Rachel Kenning founder of which is children funky jazz dance and creative movement classes for children 1-9 years.

I found this interview interesting not least because Rachel has a similar age/demographic to but because of this we have faced similar challenges as business owners. On top of this I found that she had a great vibe as well as product.

Rachel like all of us are going to have to come out the other side of this pandemic and get our businesses up and running again. But with what she's already done and is going to do you can't help but feel the future is bright for Rachel. As such, when this episode comes out in a couple of weeks I'm sure you pick up on what I did - that she is a COOL HUMAN!!!!!

Having the time to take our daily of long walks with our son and crazy little dog has definitely been one of the upside of this lockdown. I've also found many parts of our little corner of SW London to be quite beautiful...
