Solar Guitars are proud to welcome to the artist roster!

Attila is a Hungarian guitarist formerly known from touring with Nevermore alongside guitarist Jeff Loomis, as well as in bands like Sanctuary, Warrel Dane solo band. He is currently touring again with with whom he used to play with.
Even though he’s been touring around the world with such internationally acknowledged bands, Attila is most known from his Pantera & Dimebag related tutorial videos and playthroughs which he’d started putting out after playing at Dimebash 2020 in Los Angeles. His videos even reached Zakk Wylde who personally revealed Attila that he was learning most Pantera songs from watching his videos.

You can catch Attila live with Satyricon on a major of festivals this summer, starting out at Sweden rock on the 6th of June

For those of you who have been keeping score, you would have noticed that lately the legend that been the backbone of our set and keeping our groove very much alive is this handsome man here.

Well, without any further ado, we’d like to officially introduce WARBIRDS newest member Luciano Alvaro! What this literal legend has brought to the band in the past serval months is nothing short of amazing. With a mix of technicality and a groovy feel, his playing is literally second to none. He’s been an absolute pleasure to work with and the rock that’s been keeping this trio a great team to be a part of. Always positive and constantly smiling, make sure you welcome this superstar with open arms and if you see him around at a gig, don’t be shy to go up and say g’day!

Recently in between sets at our Elliott Smith tribute show, James (Fleeting Persuasion / J M S Harrison) spoke with Jules Griffith who went to Lincoln High School in Portland Oregon with Elliott Smith.

Jules who now lives in Melbourne is still friends with members of Stranger Than Fiction, Elliott's high school band.

We're back on the airwaves with a HUGE new episode featuring Jörg from Germany! We take a look at Metallica's 'St Anger' album 20 years on after it's release.

Did you love the album when it first came out or did you hate it? Do you still hate it or do you still love it? Maybe you have never heard it! I think it's one of those albums I think that people either love or hate.

Whatever our thoughts on this album, I think this album was definitely necessary. If Metallica didn't make this album, we may not have them today. Tune in to this episode we talk more about that.

So, last night I was lucky enough to win tix to attend the Worldwide listening party to Metallica's new album 72 Seasons!

It was an awesome experience and was great to hear the band talk about each song.

Tehani and I caught the Megadeth and In Flames Knotfest sideshow last week at Margaret Court Arena in Melbourne - it was a hell of a show!

Two awesome metal bands that we were seeing for the first time. It was also very encouraging to not only see many older fans, but many younger fans who were no doubt seeing these two bands for the first time also.

The sound was great, set lists were great it was ALL good! Personally I was blown away by both bands, their musicality and stage presence. Great show!

I was lucky enough to catch up briefly with one of our favorites on this show Ashley Naylor - Official while he is out on tour with Australian legendary singer-songwriter Paul Kelly!

After hearing about the sad passing of Jeff Beck back on January 10th I knew straight away that I wanted to pay tribute to him on this podcast. I thought who better to help me do this episode than Ashley Naylor from Melbourne Rock trio EVEN.

No doubt Jeff Beck is one of the electric guitar's most prolific innovators, and with a career as sprawling as his we could have easily recorded a massively long episode. RIP Jeff Beck.
