Well… my babies are nine. Oof.

Avelyn wanted a flamingo cake and Slade likes anything long and skinny (think: flamingo necks, dino necks, snakes…) so I went with it. He’s not going to eat any of it but I did throw in a blue one for him, though!

This one is four layers of white chocolate cake, whipped vanilla bean ganache filling, pretzel crumble, fresh strawberries, and vanilla buttercream.

Woo… she’s patriotic! 🇺🇸

I needed a reason to make a cake and used one of my fave holidays as an excuse. It’s a Snickers cake… chocolate layers with homemade peanut caramel filling. Can’t wait to cut into it!

💐 MOTHER’S DAY! 💐

Now that we’re barely a week away, I’ve decided to do Mother’s Day macaron boxes! 🤪

It’ll be a dozen assorted Lavender, Lemon, White Chocolate Raspberry, and Double Chocolate. $30 each.

This’ll be a quick one, guys. Let me know by Monday night if you want one. Pickup will be Friday in Epperson (can’t do Saturday, sorry!).

Happy Birthday, H!

I love how girly this is… and all I can hear is Avelyn’s little toddler voice saying ‘Meennie Moowws!’ 😩 I wish she was two again!

Also… I’m getting threatening messages from Facebook about my page being shut down if I don’t sign up for their payment processing service. So, if I disappear, that’s why!

I’m planning on White Chocolate Raspberry, Red Velvet, Chocolate Truffle, and Cinnamon Hearts (this one might be tricky but I want to give it a shot! If they’re gross, I’ll just add more of the other flavors. Also… why are the cinnamon hearts suddenly so hard to find?)

This year’s peanut butter cake for Mr. Sugarbomb’s birthday!

I’ve never done a Milk Bar style cake so I figured I’d give it a shot. It’s got peanut butter cake layers, peanut butter cream cheese frosting, chocolate cookie crumbs and chocolate ganache. 🤣

I did my best at Van Gogh-ing on this one. My mom hosted a sunflower themed Ladies Lunch… and I was in charge of the cake. I think the lemon zest in the buttercream added the perfect little sprinkle of yellow throughout!

My babies are officially eight. I think this is the first year that I haven’t been ‘upset’ that they were older… like I’m at peace with the little people they’re becoming. I would love just a few moments of nuzzling my face into their fuzzy round baby heads again, though. 😩 Now I’ll cry! Haha!

They both love Squishmallows, and Avelyn wanted to make sure the cake would be something they’d both like. Not the easiest theme to ‘boy’ up… but I think it’s adorable!

Also… the drip was *supposed* to be fondant, but I reaffirmed my hatred of the stuff and chucked it in the trash. Ganache tastes better anyway. 🤪
