✨ My mum sent me this photo of my 4th birthday! We were living as asylum seekers in the Netherlands whilst fleeing the war in Sri Lanka. It wasn’t the easiest childhood but my parents did the best they could with what they had.

✨ Now I’m 33, happy & healthy, adventuring around the world! Thank you so much for following my journey.

✨ Not many people know this about me but I’m bisexual! It took a VERY long time for me to express that part of myself. What is it that holds us back? Fear, shame, blame, judgement.

✨ Today’s affirmation: I demonstrate my life purpose in everything I do.

✨ As the year comes to a close, I start to reflect on the choices I’ve made and how far I’ve come. 2023 has been a very enlightening year indeed!

✨ 7 choices from the last few years that have changed my life:

1️⃣ Regularly going to the gym and specifically LIFTING WEIGHTS for sustainable fat loss 🏋🏾‍♀️

2️⃣ Spending time in nature whenever I can to remain grounded 🌷

3️⃣ Becoming self-employed so I can choose how much work I take on 💻

4️⃣ Going vegan for the animals, for the environment and, as a bonus, noticing the health benefits 🌱 (I’m not a perfect vegan and you don’t need to be perfect either!)

5️⃣ Practicing yoga in some form everyday, whether it’s asanas, pranayama, being charitable with my money and time, advocating for a fairer world or simply being kind with my words 🧘🏽‍♀️

6️⃣ Therapy in many forms, whether it’s cognitive behavioural therapy or somatic therapy to help process emotions and behaviours to understand who I really am (& love her unconditionally) 🌸

7️⃣ Solo travel! Solo travel was how I broke co-dependency and learnt how to be alone and enjoy my own company! It opened my eyes to world and helped me see so many different perspectives 🌍

✨ Today’s affirmation: I radiate love and warmth.

✨ I talk about shame a lot here and the reason is that shame underpins so much of our culture and our expression of ourselves.

✨ By letting go of shame, we are able to free ourselves and allow our truest expression of ourselves to shine through. This will look different for everyone.

✨ Here are some Christmas photos from the archives! A moment where I was tending to a fire in Cusco, Peru, in red lingerie! For me, feeling free means wearing whatever I want without shame. By giving ourselves permission to live without shame, we can extend that same freedom to others and allow others to freely express themselves without shame too. A ripple effect of authentic expression.

✨ Today’s affirmation: Others value my work, my time and my love.

💭 My thoughts for today are about radical healing for collective liberation:

💭 South Asian culture often revolves around people pleasing. We earned the love of our parents by striving to make everyone around us happy and in that process may lose ourselves. Our own well-being was dependent on the feedback of others.

💭 What if we relearned a new way of being? What if we told ourselves that others value our work, our time, our love, our effort? We do not need to people please to be valued. We value ourselves and in doing so, we attract those who value us.

🍉 MONDAY 18TH DEC IS ANOTHER STRIKE DAY. THAT MEANS:

- no posting about anything other than 🇵🇸
- Boycott Starbucks, McDonalds, and a whole list of other brands. It’s working. Time to boycott harder.
- Stay home from work if you can, talk about 🇵🇸 at work if you can’t

🍉 At this stage, there really is no excuse. EVERYONE can see the bare truth of what is happening and we must all pull together as a powerful collective force to FREE 🇵🇸. In doing so, we free ourselves.
