This episode with Joelle Robertson is a masterclass in feeling your fear and doing it anyway! ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Tune into this inspiring deep dive about stepping into your power and the magic that comes when you allow yourself to go deeper into self-exploration, expression, and creativity. โœจ๏ธ๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ’ซ

Joelle Robertson is a Canadian-born artist, musician, and lead vocalist and bass player for indie dream-pop band Echo Resort. For as long as Joelle could remember, there has been a desire to create. As a child, she played with the idea of being an animator or artist, but after finding 60โ€™s and 70โ€™s rock and roll, she decided that music was her true calling. This realization did not come easy. Through years of peeling back the layers of insecurity and self-doubt, she experienced hard lessons on the road to creative liberation. Healing and self reflection opened a door. A dream presented itself, and there was no turning back.

In our deep discussion, Joelle shares her journey into music, beginning with her early desires to express herself, through struggles with self-doubt and creative blocks, to finding a nurturing community in Chiang Mai, Thailand. We delve into Joelle's transformative experience of confronting personal fears and limitations through therapy and self-discovery and how this has influenced her music. Joelle emphasizes the importance of community, authenticity, and facing one's fears for personal growth and artistic creation. The discussion covers the therapeutic power of music, the process of songwriting within Echo Resort, and the personal evolution that shapes her artistic identity. Joelle leaves listeners with a message of hope and encouragement to pursue their passions despite internal and external obstacles.

Kati is fueled by questions of what lies below the surface of everyday human interactions, cultivating depth and meaning, discovering levels of intimacy and play, finding internal and external freedom in the world, and empowering others on the journey of healing and transcendence.

I believe menstrual cycle awareness should be taught in our educational systems. But, since it's not (yet! I'm hopeful one day it will be), tune in for this mini masterclass with Jaime Lauren and empower yourself!๐Ÿฉธ

Jaime Lauren is the founder of Cyclical Living for Women. She is a Somatic Erotic Practitioner, a Holistic Menstrual Coach, and a creator of transformational Feminine Embodiment journeys. Jaime works with menstruating women who want to develop a deeper relationship with their feminine energy, manage their emotions (rather than feeling like their emotions manage them), and cultivate balanced energy levels to avoid those highs and lows throughout the month.

Jaime helps women fall in love with who they are and gain confidence in their body's wisdom so they trust their intuition, allowing them to create a life that is in full alignment for them. After many years of professional training, self-study, self-practice and personal experiences, Jaime has guided hundreds of women to experience trust with their female body and open to more pleasure and aliveness.

In this empowering discussion, Jaime centers around menstrual cycle awareness and the concept of "inner seasons," which refers to the different phases of the menstrual cycle and how they correspond to seasons of the year. Jamie shares her perspective on how understanding and honoring these phases can lead to greater freedom and empowerment for women.

The conversation touches on practical tips for navigating the premenstrual phase, reframing PMS as "prioritizing myself," and the importance of community and support in this journey of self-discovery and empowerment. Jamie also shares her personal journey of discovering menstrual cycle awareness and how it transformed her life, highlighting the challenges and rewards of embracing this holistic approach to health and well-being.
