The Project has fully funded!! We are still pushing with 14 days to go. But we hit the core goal. Great appreciation to every person who shared and pledged this project. We will still be pushing to reach the stretch goals and keep things rolling, but i just wanted to say THANK YOU.

L'Ton: Broken City is HBO's "The Wire" meets Season 1 of Netflix "Daredevil". Street level, gritty, and layered story telling and character development. Follow the journey of Jamal Thompson, a street smart kid who was a local hero in school, after that path didn't pan out, he saw the military as a way out, excelling there, only to realize that path wasn't heading where he wanted to be. Eventually returning home, Jamal saw his city in a much worst place than before he left. Loosing another person close to him pushes Jamal to the edge, giving birth to his alter ego "The Remnant". How much of yourself is too much to sacrifice for the people and city you love? This becomes the question Jamal is forced to ask himself each time he does what he believes will bring peace and balance to his home town...

I'll speak more in depth as we get closer to the launch date, but this project is a few years in the making. Lots of conversations, lots of ups and downs, lot's of staying the course. This will be the first project that I created that I did't do the interior art for, we worked with a couple artist for variant covers, character reworks, and Salomón Farias is handling the interiors. I am co writing this story with Decimation Earth- Comic Book and i am proud of the work we have done. This book is issue 1 of the first 6 issue story arc. It will be live on Kickstarter May 23rd, by the time the book launches, all artwork will be done. As an indie creator, your support goes a long way. Share the link in the comments so anyone who may be interested can sign up for early notifications when this project goes live. It doesn't just support a story centered around my birth place, it also supports the artist who are working on this with us. The goal is to published more projects with other creatives handling things so I can keep putting out stories and not have to do all the art. I can focus on finishing my other graphic novels and still keep the creative projects flowing...
