Part II Episode 64: we interview the co-authors of the book, The Babysitter: My Summers with a Serial Killer written by Liza Rodman and Jennifer Jordan. Who knew the smell of strong coffee brewing across the hall would the two together and bring us this part memoir, part true crime investigation, which was published earlier this year. It has already made a big name for itself! We’re back with Season 4, Episode 61! 🤡 We bring you the “Hartford Circus Fire,” which occurred on July 6, 1944, in Hartford, Connecticut. It was one of the worst fire disasters in United States history taking place during a performance of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus with over 6,000 guests present. 700+ were injured and 167 people died. The tragedy is also known as ″The Day the Clowns Cried.″ 𝔸𝕧𝕒𝕚𝕝𝕒𝕓𝕝𝕖 𝕠𝕟 𝕒𝕝𝕝 𝕞𝕒𝕛𝕠𝕣 𝕡𝕠𝕕𝕔𝕒𝕤𝕥 𝕡𝕝𝕒𝕪𝕖𝕣𝕤.

We’re two babes from New England, talking about local crime, mystery and spooky s**t on our podcast!

We’re interested in the unknown - local stories of mystery, crime and death. We’re adventurous and looking to document our crime journey. When possible, we try visit the setting of our stories. We research it, but we also want to get a feel for it. Sometimes, we stop for a drink or two along the way.

We are totally unqualified to debunk myth or mystery and we bring random guests on the podcast BUT we love hanging out and talking about death.
