Our Story

In this multiple Emmy and Telly award-winning documentary program for broadcast television and the web, husband and wife documentary team Steve Wynn and Joanie Burton Wynn travel the world to profile everyday heroes who offer their sweat equity as a way to give back and connect to communities in need. By sharing these inspirational stories, the Wynns hope to encourage volunteerism at home and abroad. Each original program features a group of everyday heroes who offer their sweat equity as a way to connect and give back. From Cambodia to India, Namibia to New York, each immersive service project stems from the needs of local nonprofits. Working to benefit children, animals or the environment-- traveling as an individual, family or as part of an organization -- there are opportunities for everyone to give back. Volunteers and locals work together for change and, though the change may sometimes seem small, the connections made are meaningful and memorable, across countries and across cultures.
