Ava tells me that her one big sister non-negotiable is that she refuses to change diapers. She will give bottles, get the diapers from upstairs and give pacifiers BUT the changing is completely off limits! 🤣🤣🤣

Now that I announced that I’m having a baby- I know it now makes sense why I was asking all these stroller questions in my stories 🫣🤭 Now I get to ask the general masses. Are you a stroller snob? Do you judge people based on their strollers? LOL. For me safety is a must above everything (no time to judge) but I want to be cute too 🤣🤣🤣 Let me know your thoughts below!

My husband and I did not care about gender just wanted another healthy member to add to our family with that being said…. It’s a GIRL! Sooo now my husband is definitely out numbered. I love it 🥳🎉

Feeling guilty that I won’t be able to go to CNE with Ava Rose this year. Last time we went was 2019! But God knows I cannot take the walking, the heat, and the amount of people 😢 So the memories will have to do… Since I need to rest!

Routines are so key for Ava’s and I. It’s something I implemented that if I’m not available to do it… she knows exactly what steps to do on her own. -Once I pick her up, she usually does take a 10 minute nap in the car (if she isn’t singing her lungs out the frozen 🤣). -Then she comes in and knows exactly where to put her bag and takes a washroom break. Most importantly to pee and wash her hands. -Then upstairs to get dressed for a shower because she’s been at kindergarten all day. I wanna make sure that she’s clean. *She dresses herself. -Then downstairs to play and eat. #routine #afterschoolroutine #kindergarten #canadianmom #canadianmommyblogger

I like to change bags at least every season. I’m currently using a mesh Marc Jacobs but it screams summer and not Fall/Winter. Full transparency and vulnerability moment. My husband got a last minute tickets to Disney on Ice but HE wasn’t able to go. So it was just Ava and I…. and boy was it slightly challenging. Taking the GO train in the east end to Union. NEVER did that before. Navigating massive crowds with a toddler after all we went through from 2020. Probably all First World issues BUT overwhelming as hell for me because I always have help (So blessed for that). But the reality is sometimes I won’t. Why did I do it? Literally for that face. She had the time of her LIFE!

Customization is definitely going to be the key for us going into kindergarten - I feel like the name Ava is the new Jennifer 🤣 I’m so grateful for a mama❤️ who gifted me these labels to add to Ava‘s lunch containers and water bottles. Four other lunch must haves: - Sandwich mould/cutter -Vegetable/food cutter -Silicone liners -Mini forks I’m so excited to get into this Mommy lunch mood in two weeks and I will keep you guys updated on our progress ❤️ Anything else that I should be adding/missing?

In 3 weeks, I officially have a Kindergartener. I’m excited but also nervous because I’m a first time mom and I know NOTHING about back to school in these times. LOL! It’s been some YEARS 🤣 Any back to school tips/tricks? Also do you remember Kindergarten? Because I vaguely do 🫣

Don’t judge me. I literally only started eating sweet potatoes a few years ago. Because I thought that if potatoes are not supposed to be sweet 🤣 But if you’re looking for a great side for anything from salmon to pork! This is it! I wish I could give you exact amounts of how much oil and seasoning to put in it.
