NFL Teams ONLY get 30 pre-draft visits with prospects in the weeks leading up to the Draft, meaning there has to be a level of interest in that player potentially being drafted by the team that hosted said visit. That being said, per NFL Reporter Aaron Wilson -- the Seahawks HOSTED Oregon QB Bo Nix for a visit this past weekend, prompting speculation that Seattle could still look to add to its QB room this off-season EVEN AFTER restructuring Geno Smith's contract & trading for a young gunslinger in Sam Howell.
While it seems out of the realm of possibility that Seattle would use the 16th overall pick on Nix, what if Seattle traded down from 16 & acquired a late first + Day 2 draft capitol? Could Nix be in the plan if a scenario like that unfolded?

I love Patrick Queen's game AND fit in a hypothetical reunion with Mike MacDonald in Seattle, but no way the Seahawks should be dropping $18+ million a year in his direction when Jordyn Brooks can be re-signed to a much-more team-friendly deal. In addition, Seattle's limited cap flexibility needs to be allocated towards bringing back its own free agents, specifically DL Leonard Williams, Noah Fant, Colby Parkinson, Drew Lock, etc.

The NFLPA really needs to update update their website as far as cap space numbers for each team 🤦🏾‍♂️ On the website it says ‘updated daily,’ & they listed Seattle with $29+ million.. however, I just got confirmation from Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times saying it hasn’t taken into account all of Seattle’s free agent signings yet!
