Three reasons why I chose Legal Nurse Consulting 👇

1. NO COMMUTE - I live in Phoenix, AZ. Occasionally I think the traffic is worse than when I lived in California. It has gotten worse in the last couple of years. Both hospitals I worked at was 18-20 miles and it took me an hour door to door because of traffic. That was 2 hours added to my already 12 hour shift. It was not conducive to family time either.

2. FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE - I have 2 children. They were still babies when I worked at the hospital. We have no extra help. It is just my husband and myself. When the kids get sick, it always fell on me along with other responsibilities. We tried to share as much as possible but honestly he was the director at his job so he needed to be there. I wanted to be able to feel relief I could just managed the sick when I needed to and not feel guilty for calling in or not having sick pay, etc.

3. INCREASED PAY - Legal Nursing pay is all over board honestly. It is also very negotiable. It has always been higher than my hospital pay with the exception of one job I took for experience. Pay also depends on what route you take as an LNC meaning whether you subcontract, work for a firm, or work for yourself.

This is 3 reasons amongst others while I chose Legal Nursing over Bedside Nursing. Can you relate to any of the reasons listed?
