MBI Media Network LLC Welcome to MBI Media Network, home to some of the most electrifying urban music. Monkey Funk International and Interstate Entertainment.

With over a combined 30 years of experience, the team here at MBI has managed to assemble a roster of artist like no other. MBI Media Network is a collaborative effort between two independent record labels. With the two record labels already garnering individual success, a meeting between the company owners was inevitable. MBI Media Network is the brain-child of that fateful meeting. Taking a page

from Interstate Entertainment's mission statement, MBI has managed to give back the long lost control that many artist felt stripped of when signed to a record label. This new found freedom has placed creative control back in the hands of the artist and is responsible for the innovative music that has gained MBI recognition. MBI Media Network is run by a board of directors made up of the owners of the two labels that now comprise MBI. The history between the the board of directors dates back to the mid 1990s. Earnest Perkins and Manny Rodriguez had formed the legendary hip hop group Badd Influinz and soon after added Christopher Victoria to the group. From there, tours throughout west Texas brought the group to the brink of superstardom. Unfortunately a hail of unforeseen events stunted the growth of the trio. But not their passion or drive. Soon after, Manny Rodriguez began Monkey Funk International, which produced Christopher Victoria's first release from Interstate Entertainment Truth Be Told in 2002. In July of 2010, fate allowed the three prodigies to meet on common ground once again. The Earth trembled and MBI Media Network was born. Immediately, production for the highly anticipated reunion album commenced.
