48 Years ago today AC/DC's First Album : "High Voltage" released only in Australia and New Zealand, on 17 February 1975. Their first international release in 1976 would also be named High Voltage, though with a radically different track list.
Six of its eight songs were written by Angus Young, Malcolm Young and Bon Scott. "Soul Stripper" was written by the Young brothers and "Baby, Please Don't Go" is a cover version of a Big Joe Williams song. The album was produced by Vanda & Young at Albert Studios in Sydney, Australia.

The band will finally be taking POWER UP out on the road for some massive dates in Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, England, Slovakia, Belgium, France and Ireland from May to August, for their first proper tour in a whopping eight years.

They’ve confirmed that their line-up will consist of vocalist Brian Johnson, guitarists Angus and Stevie Young, Matt Laug on drums and Chris Chaney on bass – who as AC/DC themselves say will be carrying “the torch for Cliff” Williams, who retired from performing in 2016
