Welcome LANAYAH to the Anima Recordings round-up. We will be releasing their new album “I’m Picking Lights in a Field…” on CD and digitally on June 16th. Available now for pre-order.

Lanayah have previously been described as "fairly unclassifiable blackened screamo", and their new album marks an expansion of the band's compositional ambition. It was conceptualized, written, and recorded as a single album-length piece, and later cut into 8 tracks marking distinct movements while flowing freely forward. Over the album's 40-minute runtime, Lanayah travels through dense fog and wide open landscapes, with jagged riffs, synthetic ambient passages, and intertwining polyrhythms.

You can stream two tracks “Nameless Fluttering” and “Knife, Mirror” now via link in profile, where you can pre-order the CD edition, which is also offered in a bundle with two different T-shirt options. Shirts are also available seperately!

Lanayah will be touring the west coast this summer with The Exit Bags as well as Kathryn Mohr & Kaho Matsui on select dates.
