One of the best things about WHFS 102.3 was it's diehard support of new music especially from local musicians. So here's a great new rockabilly influenced rocker from his new release, "Bitter Blues", by DC's own Domenic Cicala. He's a little late to the show but, you know, right on time!
just a rave up Rockabilly influenced rocker

Obviously they cannot Let It Be.
Disney+ will launch a newly restored version of the 1970 Beatles documentary Let It Be, which has been unavailable for more than half a century, on May 8. Initially released in May 1970 amidst the iconic band’s break-up, the unused footage from the shoot became the foundation for the acclaimed 2021 docuseries Get Back from director Peter Jackson, who has spearheaded the restoration of the previous feature.
It has been restored by Jackson’s Park Road Post Production from the original 16mm negative, along with sound restoration using the same MAL de-mix technology utilized in Get Back. Featuring footage NOT included in Get Back, the doc brings viewers into the studio and onto Apple Corps’ London rooftop in January 1969 as The Beatles, joined by Billy Preston, write and record their Grammy-winning album Let It Be and perform live for the final time as a group. “I was so lucky to have access to Let It Be director Michael Lindsay-Hogg's outtakes for Get Back, and I’ve always thought that Let It Be is needed to complete the Get Back story,” said Jackson in a release. “I now think of it all as one epic story, finally completed after five decades.“

What a fantastic song from his only studio recording that I've loved for decades. Robbie Robertson's guitar just lifts it to a whole 'nutha level. What do you think?
Track six from the out of print self titled album by The Band's Rick Danko.
