🇧🇬🏆 Congratulations to Elvira Krasnobaeva and Eva Brezalieva, who won a total of seven medals for Bulgaria at the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in Athens, Greece. Krasnobaeva won gold medals in all-around and in the hoop final, as well as silver medals in bats and ribbon. Eva Brezalieva came second in all-around and won bronze medals in ball and bats.
🇧🇬🥉 The kickboxing nationals also brought a reason of pride for Bulgaria, which took third place in the medal ranking of the World Cup in Italy. Our competitors completed their participation with 24 gold, 23 silver and 37 bronze medals. Nearly 1500 kickboxers from 43 countries participated in the tournament.
💪🇧🇬 Exceptional performance for the Bulgarian team at the largest championship for athletes with Down Syndrome - TRISOME GAMES. Native athletes won three gold and three bronze medals in the first two days of the competition, which is being held in Antalya, Turkey. 16-year-old Alexander Asenov triumphed in the long jump and won the title in the triathlon. He also won bronze in the 100-meter sprint. A cause of pride brought Bulgaria and Radena Angelova, who won the gold distinction in 1500 meters sports walking discipline and bronze in women's triathlon. Alexander Alexandrov brought a bronze medal for our country in the Olympic Judo Tournament.
в Another strong performance for Bulgaria was made by the snowboarders at the World Championship for Youth and Girls in Lakhtal, Austria. Our competitors occupied the ladder of honor in the parallel slalom after Christian Georgiev, Tervel Zamfirov and Peter Gergyovski came first, second and third. In the parallel giant slalom, Tervel Zamfirov won the silver medal and Peter Gergyovski won a bronze medal.
