GF*M Records

GF*M Records had a great year in 2018 - releasing debut records for both Bird in the Belly ('The Crowing') and Hickory Signals ('Turn to Fray'). Both received critical acclaim, with 'Turn to Fray' being named folk album of the month in the Guardian, and 'The Crowing' album of the week in the Sunday Express (further quotes below).

2019 is also looking busy, with a new album from Bird in the Belly due out in October, both Ben Webb (Bird in the Belly, Jinnwoo, Green Ribbons) and Laura Ward (Bird in the Belly, Hickory Signals) featuring as vocalists on Ben Walker's solo album, and with Bird in the Belly writing, producing and performing on the new Frankie Armstrong album (yet to be released).
