@dukeuniversity now “concerned” and will investigate Priya Parkash’s graduation speech she gave on Sunday.
It’s oddly similar to a 2014 Harvard University commencement speech given by Sarah Abushaar.
Through a PR spokesman Parkash said:
“When I was asked to give the commencement speech,” the statement read, “I was thrilled by such an honor and I sought advice from respected friends and family about topics I might address. I was embarrassed and confused to find out too late that some of the suggested passages were taken from a recent commencement speech at another university. I take full responsibility for this oversight and I regret if this incident has in any way distracted from the accomplishments of the Duke class of 2022.”

HOME TOUR: Here's what you can get in Downtown Raleigh for 330K
Stephanie had been renting in downtown Raleigh for years and when her lease was up she decided it was finally time to buy. She had been eyeing a specific building in downtown with a rooftop pool for a while and when she saw a one-bedroom for sale on Zillow she decided to go for it.
Her decorating style is a mix of mid-century modern and Scandinavian. The gallery wall is a personal collection of photos she’s collected over many years. Stephanie’s furniture includes pieces from her grandmother like the couch, although she did have it reupholstered. She also found unique pieces from Craigslist.
Stephanie works as a product owner in the financial services industry. Her company has an office in downtown Raleigh but she often works from home. And who can blame her with the awesome amenities in her building.
HOA dues for this building are about $495 per month which includes: clubhouse, garbage pickup, water, and a 24/7 a door attendant to monitor guests and help with package receiving.
Her realtor Jacqueline Lee told us they got this condo by acting on it fast and making a fair but competitive offer.
“Raleigh’s for career queers, Carrboro’s for art queers, and Chapel Hill is for burnt-out queers... Durham was described as “polyamorous bottom country.”
