Kenny Bergamo is back on 3-4-1 Cuts following previous productions such as remixes of "Is your name Tang Lung?" by Muzarco in 2020 and "First & Last Dance" by Animor in 2023 and the entry "Libre" released in 2022 within the V/A Essential Cuts, Vol. 1.
This time, this incredible Italian talent offers us his first mini-album of 7 tracks. A sound and spiritual quest influenced by different cultures and ethnicities. It kicks off with some mysterious recordings characterized by repetitive samples and vocals tied to oriental mantras such as 'Adi Shakti', which is also the name of the EP, the creative energy and strength of the universe. The sweet voice in 'Adi Shakti' is by world-renowned Kundalini Yoga teacher, Sada Sat Kaur. It continues with dancefloor beats and eccentric melodies spiced up with organic percussion and a tribal groove, playing between music genres such as downtempo, organic house, afro house and indie dance.

For many years Thomas T. and Eugenio Colombo, DJs and producers active in the Italian house and techno scene, have been taking off with their DJ sets a bit everywhere. Finally, in the last quarter of 2023, the FONEMA project is coming to life, a new synergy that promises to stand out not only for the duo's grit and their knowledge of music but also for their own distinctive sound. In this first EP on 3-4-1 Cuts, the artists present us two Tech House style tracks, definitely full of energy and promising to set dance floors on fire. It is a winning blend of textures, rolling basslines and warm synth stabs that come together in a very polished and assertive groove.

We like to play with the waves especially in the summer months when it is very hot outside. As in the last edition of our V/A "Summer Waves, Vol. 1", Artiglio!, who edited this second fantastic collection of unreleased and fine tracks, left us speechless. 16 tracks telling stories of those who fearlessly braved all kinds of waves. A succession of pulsating moments charged with adrenalin alternated with moments of apparent calm. The challenge was taken up by names already known to those familiar with our label, such as Alogique, Paul Bones, Ustrell, Fabio S, Andrea Careddu, DEE TREE-9 or Andrea Crestani, Thomas T., Anthony Spirit and encoder. Among the many new releases in 2023, we are in particular proud to announce the return of Muzarco from Israel with a truly incredible track to be discovered, the first release with us of the successful duo Lenz (DE) and the official welcome to two Swiss artists Luke Bathwine and Dee Machine's.

The year 2023 could not have started in a better way. After the success of the OUT Of The Blue, Vol. 2 compilation, we are particularly proud to be able to share and present another important recent collaboration with Animor on our label. Taking a step back, remixes are challenges that test the artists involved. On the one hand, the idea is not to lose the connection to the original song in the remodelling process, and on the other hand to successfully integrate the distinctive elements of the remixer himself. Remixes therefore represent an important opportunity to create an initial bridge, thus shortening the distance, between two artists and often also between musical genres. Our catalogue already boasts several such works. In 2019 we offered remixes of Outreach, a track by Kurt Baggaley (UK); in 2020 remixes of Is Your Name Tang Lung? and Motion by Question by Muzarco (IL) and Sa Trinxa by Andrea Careddu (D) and then again Biokarma by Freaky Farms (CH). Despite the very difficult period related to the global pandemic, we never stopped working behind the scenes with remixes of Intensity Chill by Endless Project Sound (CH) and Red Neon by Stendeck (CH). Returning to the new releases of 2023, the first is 'First and Last Dance remixes' by Animor, a track our artists worked on. The original version was released within the first album Chasing Gold in 2017 and is a song that its voice and author (Romina Kalsi) cares a lot about. It is a musical message capable of fusing different genres, creating an enveloping sound that goes straight to the heart. The challenge was accepted by Ustrell and Kenny Bergamo, who created two fresh and futuristic interpretations of the original song in an electronic-indie-dance key. Ustrell joined our team in 2022 and released 2 successful EPs Runaway and Real and Chill, while Kenny Bergamo has been working with us since 2020 and will soon release his first album Adi Shakti in 2023.

We are happy to host on our label the comeback EP of a friend based in the beautiful city of Florence (Italy) who is active internationally since the '90s. Tommaso Torrini aka Thomas T., in addition to still being a great DJ, proves to us that he is always an excellent producer in search of fresh and functional sounds as well as being a good consumer of winning music with a keen eye on what happens on the dance floor. In this EP entitled AWAY we find all of his characteristics. It is not a nostalgic record but a page turner that wants to talk about the future. Ustrell, one half of the duo of DJs and producers known as Wow & Flute (who have previously released on Spinnin' and Nervous Records), returns to our label with a new work. This time with a selection of industrial and raw sounds somewhere between Techno, Electronica and House, which follow a dry but swaying groove. The prolific Hungarian artist encoder presents his first EP on 3-4-1 Cuts entitled "Different Glasses Different View". The record consists of 4 functional and solid tracks (two of which were previously selected by Artiglio! and released recently on our exclusive compilations OUT of the BLUE, Vol. 1 and 2). Electro music with an addictive beat and rolling bass but it is not all, encoder is capable of within this genre. He does this by changing perspective and granting the right depth and attention to the modern approach but he is also capable of taking us back to the setting of the classic 90s Detroit.
