Management of Knee Osteoarthritis in young and active patients

Special Volume – Extended Deadline

Dear knee caregivers,

Due to high demand and interest we have decided to respect the request for more time by several author groups.

We send you this letter to be part of a thrilling project. Antonio Klasan, Tilman Callies, Sébastien Lustig and Emmanuel Thienpont were invited by Archives of Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery (AOTS, Impact Factor 2.928) to serve as guest editors of a special volume entirely dedicated to Management of in Knee Osteoarthritis in young and active patients. We aim to finalize this volume by the end of 2023. Accepted articles will be published online ahead of print immediately after acceptance.

This special volume will be about Physiotherapy, Injections, Cartilage, Meniscal (root) tears, UKA, TKA, Robotics, Time to get back to work, sports with OA or after surgery, the unhappy patient and every other subject connected to the topic.

It would be our pleasure to have you contribute to this volume by submitting original or review articles related to the subject.
The new deadline for a first draft is September 1st 2023. Submissions will undergo a privileged and accelerated review process. Authors should submit via the AOTS homepage and chose “S.I. Management of Knee Osteoarthritis in young and active patients” for article type. Submission guidelines can be found here:
