We’re so excited to introduce you to Stuart, who's experience speaks for itself...

Stuart’s career is seriously impressive and has come into the film industry with a wealth of skills, experience and expertise. Stuart moved to the west coast of Scotland 15 years ago whilst completing his military service with the Royal Navy's Submarine Service, serving as a weapons engineer.

After serving in the Navy, Stuart entered the maritime and private security sectors gaining extensive knowledge and skills including:

- Cruise ship security.
- Armed and unarmed security for commercial shipping operating in high-risk areas worldwide.
- Security Management and supervision for construction and commercial clients.
- Health, Safety, Security, Risk Assessment and management.
- Trained advanced first aider and firefighter.

And, he most recently underwent training as a Bridge Officer trainee within the Merchant Navy in shipping and maritime operations.

It’s such an honour that a guard of this calibre works as part of our team!

Drum roll please… for Vincent, our SIA security guard!

Vincent gets stuck in as an essential part of the production team and offers his vast knowledge and experience as a qualified security guard. Vincent is superb on the radio making sure he is in full control of all entry and exit points of the set/base he oversees and only permits authorised access.

A man of many talents, Vincent has a master’s degree in economics (with distinction) and he is currently on a professional placement as a Research Assistant with Glasgow Caledonian University in completion for his second master’s degree in International Economics and Social Justice.

A very bright individual indeed, and an exceptionally hard worker. He is quick to become an integral part of the film production crew with his friendly and outgoing nature, we are never short of fantastic feedback from our clients and know he is always on the ball and alert. Nothing will get passed Vincent 😄

The spotlight today is on the brilliant Alan…

Our dedicated SIA licenced guard whose meticulous attention to detail and dedication to set/base security is second to none. A crucial team member of ours who gets stuck in and always lends a helping hand to any of the production crew no matter what department… helping dislodge vehicles from ditches, putting out bin fires, managing traffic when production vehicles are stuck in mud, informing and managing public around set. Even when Alan is off-duty as a security guard, he continues to be dedicated to his badge. Alan does his job by the book and makes sure he carries out his work to an exceptionally high standard.

One of the busiest people we know, Alan owns and runs a farm, which he loves to talk about, as well as working as a door supervisor at the weekends. He isn’t just our security guard, he’s also one of our drivers and attendants for our motorhomes and gators and worked on many of our big contracts last year and always receives fantastic feedback from clients. His experience in film and TV is expansive and he is always a joy to work with.

It’s our great pleasure to introduce our SIA licenced guard, Babajide...

Babs is a very conscientious and hard-working guard who has a wealth of industry experience and an essential part of our team. He always receives fantastic feedback from the production and crew, and regular requests for him on-site. This is down to his personable and approachable personality and hard work ensuring the safety of sets, bases, equipment, cast and crew by regularly patrolling and controlling access to sites. Babs safeguards the expensive assets preventing theft or damage and regularly takes responsibility for keys of crew vehicles.

Babs moved to Scotland two years ago and pursued his SIA licence representing rigorous training and professionalism in the security industry. Babs is somewhat of a genius, working as a Data Analyst and Systems Engineer he has a master’s degree in both Computer Science and Financial Technology. An all-round fantastic member of our team.

We’re so delighted to introduce our SIA security officer, Tori.

Tori is one of our female officers and a real credit to our team. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the film and TV sectors and broader security roles as well as a bubbly, approachable personality. She started her career as a nurse and has now worked in an array of security roles, including as a door supervisor.

Tori has an amazing way with people and has the verbal skills to manage any situation with care for health, safety and wellbeing. Taking a great deal of pride in her work, Tori looks after sites containing valuable props, costumes, and equipment protecting them from theft, vandalism, or unauthorised access.

She conducts regular safety checks by patrolling the set/base, monitors entry and exit points, and ensures that only authorised personnel are present. Tori’s proactive approach helps prevent accidents and ensures a safe working environment for the entire production team.
