If it seems like Biden is a LOT older than Trump, maybe this is how you got that impression.

A study out today by Media Matters shows that cable news networks are “obsessed over Biden’s age while overwhelmingly ignoring Trump’s.” Biden is only three years older than Trump—80 and 77, respectively—and in significantly better health, but in the week after Biden announced his reelection campaign, CNN, the Fox News Channel, and MSNBC mentioned his age 588 times, suggesting it is a negative attribute,while mentioning Trump’s only 72 times.

I must share the sad news that our page’s founder, Lucian Dixon, passed away this summer following a heart attack. He was a kind, thoughtful and gentle soul who lived a fascinating life that spanned the globe, working as a photographer and journalist. He ended up living near his childhood home in Jackson, MS, for his final chapter of life.
Lucian started this page as a lark, and I came on as an editor a few years back. I don’t have the Admin privileges to shut down the page so it will have to live on, with occasional posts to keep entertaining you as the political carnival continues its humor-driven tour around America.
Thank you, Lucian, for all that you gave. You’ll be missed.

These are some of the Texas Democrats leaving the state to prevent Texas Republicans from having the quorum that they need to pass their voter suppression bill.

They are leaving the state for weeks because Greg Abbott is threatening to arrest them and force them to appear. They are heading to DC to go to the Capitol and show national Democrats that they are not doing enough to save democracy.
