When you show up to a non-emergency event, you should always look professional. Especially when more than one department is involved. Recently one of our authors went to an event with multiple departments. Some looked very professional in matching uniforms, while others looked great in matching shirts/pants. There were other that showed up in sweat pants and sweat shirts ( non- matching.) What are your thoughts on this? Is not your appearance a reflection on your department and your chief?

All admins and authors on this page have been in emergency services for at least 5 years. They are all paramedics/firefighters, and they wish to bring info to the rural counties and explain why the " we have always done it that way" does not work anymore.
