We provide mutual help with beta reading, editing, formatting, cover art, and marketing so our readers get the best final product possible. ation, check us out! We’ll help you self-publish with the use of our imprint. This will allow you to keep all of your book sale profits to yourself. Now, you may be wondering what is an imprint and why is it important to an indie author?

*An imprint is a publishing name to publish your own work under. (Think: Sourcebooks, Penguin, Random House)
*An imprint lends a polished and professional look to your book.
*An imprint lets readers know your work is credible.
*An imprint is a brand. People will grow to recognize it when they see it. We have great books and authors, readers see our brand positively. (If you are part of a group that all uses the same imprint (as opposed to being the sole user of a name or using your own name), readers will feel more confident in spending their hard earned money. What’s in it for you?

*You will receive access to our private blog. On this blog, we share information, resources, and advice. Need a list of editors? Check out the list. See what people have to say about who they’ve used in the past. It’s there too. If you need a beta reader, just list it.
*Have a question? Ask it. We have been through this process and can help answer questions you may have.
*You will also have access to EHP’s graphics for use on your website, books, etc.
*You will appear on our website and page. We encourage all of our authors to promote you on their pages as well.
*You’ll have a fantastic final product.

When people look up your ebook on Amazon, they will see Elizabeth Hawk Publishing as the publisher. That’s huge! EHP charges a reasonable set-up fee for your first title. There is a small charge for each additional title that you would like to use Elizabeth Hawk Publishing’s name on. That’s it. You proceed like a self-published author, but with our help along the way. You keep all the cash from your book sells for yourself! Our service is an investment that will benefit you and your books. Bastet's Heart by Donna Hawk

Peering closer to the insignificant opening, he could feel the pull of wind as air was sucked into the shaft. A ghostly whistling howled eerily from inside the darkness. Bitsy and Joseph exchanged a puzzled, excited glance. The wardens’ voices were just around a bend in the hallway. Immediately, Joseph shoved the rocks back in place, once again sealing the strange opening.

The water was steel gray, dark and mottled, reflecting the overcast sky. Distant thunder threatened softly. She would have shaken her head had she not been afraid of losing her balance.
“Awesome,” she murmured sarcastically. She shivered in alarm. Where the hell was she anyway? Shouldn’t she be home or something?
Wind puffed strands of hair away from her face. Foreboding reared its ugly head, causing her heart to race. What the heck was she doing here? Was there someone she could call? Who?
She made a quick search of her pockets to find a phone, but she’d either lost it or it was stolen. Her heart raced.

Snippet two of BUTTERFLY TOTEM: Aurora woke slowly but did not bother to open her eyes. They were crusty with unshed tears. More than anything, she was terrified at what this darkness meant for her future, if she was to have one.
Even this, she could deal with, if her sister been by her side. They always seemed to be able to stand up against any odds… together. Alone, there wasn’t much hope. At least, she couldn’t feel any hope inside her. No, she felt like giving up.
But giving up wasn’t an option. Aspen would be so disappointed in her and she would do anything to keep that from happening.
She sat up, noticing the ground seemed a little damper than it had when she’d fallen asleep. It must’ve rained.

Butterfly Totem (snippet 1)
Today wasn’t the first time she’d wished Aspen were near. She missed her twin so much, suffering from a homesickness that got worse by the day. She wasn’t homesick for a home, exactly, but for her sister. No matter how hard she tried to be happy alone, she knew she had to have her sister near her. Besides, they had no one else, no one who cared if they were alive or dead.
At this point, that possibility of living without her sister was very real. A whole lot of trouble seemed to be waiting in line just to hurt her. Whatever would Aspen do if something did happen before Aspen could find her? How would she get along without Aurora?
Aurora beat herself up, thinking about how she had left her sister that night. She’d had more than she could stand of Sally and the others. Miss Rosa wasn’t attentive to bullying. Perhaps it was because she was old and convinced “those nice girls” would never act like that. Aurora knew differently.

Introducing our newest author addition Sarah Edgerton - Author. Please say hi to Sarah!!

Fun Fact: Sarah Edgerton is my pen name. My real name is Sarah Moore, and Edgerton is my maiden name. I won't hide it. I decided to use Edgerton because there are SO MANY women named Sarah Moore. On top of that, there were already authors named Sarah Moore, and I wanted to stand apart from them.

Another Fun Fact: My day job is teaching. I am a teacher at my local middle school.

This evening, my district shared a staff spotlight post about my book. I am absolutely thankful and humble for the number of positive reactions, well wishes, and shares!

Keep chasing your dream. I'm not exactly where I want to be yet, but I'll get there. :)
