Hamas says October 7 assault on Israel was 'fundamental stage,' concedes 'deficiencies'
Palestinian aggressor Hamas said Sunday its October 7 assaults in southern Israel were a "vital stage" against Israeli control of the Palestinian domains.
"Some faults happened... due to the rapid collapse of the Israeli security and military system and the chaos caused along the border areas with Gaza," the group acknowledged in a 16-page report justifying the attack.
The group's first public report was published in English and Arabic, explaining the circumstances surrounding the attack, which occurred when the militants broke through the militarized border of Gaza.
