So Long And Thanks For All The Comics

So people may have noticed that ICN isn’t as active as it used to be and I’ve come to the realisation that the site is no longer high up on my priorities and that I find myself focusing on other projects.

As the only person actively involved on a regular basis (such as the level it is) and with that not looking like it will change any time soon, I have taken the decision to stop updating the site and effectively close it down.

I’m sorry that it’s come to this and I appreciate all the help from the Irish creatives over the years who took time away from work to answer my questions, 7 questions and longer form.

It has been suggested that we do one last set of awards and I think that would be a good way to go out on a high so I’ll think about that in the coming weeks.

I’ll still be at conventions and smaller events but just not for ICN. So this is goodbye - David Ferguson, Editor In Chief.

Open Call - Coming Soon! Dublin Comic Arts Festival (DCAF) is thrilled to announce a new paid opportunity for indie comic writers and artists in Ireland! HOME is an upcoming print anthology of short comic stories on the theme of Ireland as 'home'. Comic writers and artists at any point in their career may pitch a story, which, if selected, we will then work to develop into a full 4-page comic story and publish in a printed book. Funded by the Arts Council of Ireland.
