It’s been incredible to work with making a documentary about the park. The best sunrise in the world, seen from Loggerhead key. Population? 1 or sometimes 2 sea turtle researchers. Such a privilege to experience this place! 🏝 🐢

From a DC parking lot to the finally free in the Rockies! 🏔 As you all may know already, my G4 challenge means a lot to me. I had it since my Junior year of college at SCAD, then it came with me up to DC. When COVID hit, I unexpectedly spent a few months in Atlanta, leaving my G4 behind, waiting. I came back and it was a mess. Now, two years later, I got it restored! I shipped it out to Colorado to my parents house where it’s meant to be, and I’ve been using it to explore the backcountry!

TL;DR: My G4 is back and better than ever!

Found the most fantastic fungi 🍄 in Canada! We went on just a short hike and found dozens of incredible mushroom species in only about an hour. Here are some of my favorites from the day!
Identifications from left to right:

1. Bear’s head tooth (Hericium americanum)
2. Hericium novae-zealandiae
3. Crown-tipped coral fungus (Artomyces pyxidatus)

Three years ago, Fate of the Mustang finished production and began its festival tour. After being well-received by audiences around the globe and achieving multiple awards, I'm beyond ecstatic to announce that it's finally here to be viewed for free so everyone can learn about what's happening to America's iconic wild horses! This film follows the journey of how exactly they got to the americas (spoiler: they're not native wildlife!), where they are now, and who's caring for them today. Thank you to everyone that's helped make this film possible, we couldn't have done it without you!

All aboard the mane attraction! 🐴 🐎 Moose had to be the best horse I’ve ever ridden- turns out he used to be a ranch horse that spent his days working to herd cattle. Now, he’s retired to leisurely walking along trails- today, with an annoying girl on his back that won’t stop telling him he’s a good boy in a baby voice. 🥰

Well would ya look at that! I got my own road in the Smokies, and didn’t even know it!⛰

One of the most misunderstood birds, the Turkey Vulture helps protect the environment by cleaning up carcasses- their stomachs can actually kill harmful bacteria and toxins, so it can no longer spread to other animals (and even humans)! So, thank your local Turkey vulture today. 🤝☠️ Wanna know why they have nekkit heads? Find out on the next episode of Wild, Wild World, coming soon! 🌴🌳🍄
