This quarterly journal is published by the Office of Theology and Worship of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) in partnership with the Presbyterian Association of Musicians.

DEADLINE EXTENDED TO JUNE 22nd!
The Call to Worship: Liturgy, Music, Preaching, and the Arts journal is accepting submissions of original, unpublished liturgy written in response to violent events, to be included in vol. 58.3 “Liturgy in Times of Crisis” or on calltoworshipjournal.org. Though we regret that we will not be able to include all submissions, we look forward to receiving liturgy from across the church.
Collects, prayers of intercession, litanies, sequences of confession and/or lament, or short prayer services are welcome. These may be general prayers for situations of violence, or they may be written in response to specific events, such as shootings, public health crises, natural disasters, incidents of racial or gender violence, or occasions of war. If applicable, please note the specific event in your submission.
Please send submissions as a Word document to Sally Ann McKinsey at [email protected] by June 22nd, 2024 with your name, ministry context, and location.
Please name your file this way: Lastname_liturgysubmission_CTW58.3.
Writers will be contacted by July 1st, 2024 about inclusion in vol. 58.3 “Liturgy in Times of Crisis” or online at calltoworshipjournal.org.
